I recently had a chance to review the Headplay personal cinema experience and it blew me away. Headplay looks like a very simple product with just a viewer and a liberator, but the technology packed into this system is unlike anything you have ever experienced.

The Headplay viewer is simply a visor that you wear on your head and the patented technology delivers split identical images to each eye with resolution levels up to 1024 x 768 that makes you feel you are looking at a 52" flat screen. Here is a picture of the Headplay visor.

Here is picture of the underside of the Headplay visor. This is where you can adjust the IPD sliders to give you the most comfortable viewing experience. You can move the sliders to the left or right to align the image with your Inter-Pupilar Distance or more commonly known as the space between your eyes. The underside of the visor is also where you can adjust the focus sliders to sharply focus the picture you are viewing.

The Liberator is the box, or multimedia hub, that liberates you from your computer or television screen and allows you to view your personal cinema system anywhere you desire. The Liberator has a multitude of connections that allow you to hook up to just about any hardware that you can imagine. It has a VGA port to hook to your PC or MAC. It has an S-Video Input that allows connection between game consoles, DVD players and Satellite boxes.
