It’s hard to say precisely the number of alarms that you can set on your iPhone. It’s worth noting that there’s no limit to how you can set the alarm, as you can always set up multiple of them daily. Interestingly, it’s possible to set one for every minute of the day.

Can you set up multiple alarms on your iPhone?

There’s no restriction as to the number of alarms that you can set on your smartphone. As such, it’s safe to say that you can always set up multiple alarms on your iPhone.

Let’s have a look at how you can set up multiple alarms of your iPhone below:

  • With the Clock app, you can always turn your smartphone into an alarm clock, setting up as many as you want.
  • To do that, the first thing you need is to open the Clock app from the Home Screen. You can also find the app in your iPhone’s Control Center or even use Siri to open it.
  • After opening the Clock app, the next step is to tap on the Alarm tab. It’s located at the bottom of your screen.
  • Next, tap on the Add button, it’s designated by a plus sign and located at the upper right corner of your screen.
  • Now, you need to use the rotor to rotate the numbers and set them to your preferred time.

You’ve only been able to set up a single alarm on your smartphone. Now, let’s take a look at how you can set up multiple alarms below:

  • For you to set up multiple alarms on your iPhone, you need to continue from the setups above and tap on the Repeat button. With this move, you’ll be able to choose whether to want the alarm to repeat itself every day for the rest of the week. What that means is that you can always choose to let the alarm sound repeatedly every Monday to Sunday or select the specific days for the alarm.
  • Furthermore, to set multiple alarms, you need to repeat the steps above. Tap the Add button, which is designated by a plus sign again. After that, use the rotor, as usual, to set another preferred time.

You can repeat this process as many times as you want. There are no restrictions as to how many alarms you can set on your iPhone daily. You can go as far as setting up the alarms, each for every minute of the day.

With that, it means you can set up about 1,440 alarms or even more in a day.

The bottom line is that you can always set up multiple alarms on your iPhone.

How many alarms can you set up on your iPhone?

As earlier mentioned, there’s no limit to how many alarms you can set with the Clock app on your iPhone. With the app, all you need is to follow the simple and direct steps in the previous sections above and you’ll be able to set up multiple alarms.

Furthermore, you can always set up as many alarms as you want, with each of them set up for every minute of the day. I’m sure you know what that means. However, in case you don’t, what I’m trying to say is that you can always set up your alarms, with each of them having only a minute space to ring.

For instance, you can set one alarm for 8:00 am, set the next ones for 8:01 am, 8:02 am, 8:03 am, 8:04 am, 8:05 am, 8:06 am, 8:07 am, 8:08 am, 8:09 am, 8:10 am, and so on. Yes, you can set the alarms, each for every minute of the day.

There are 24 hours in a day and 60 minutes in every hour. With that, it means you can set up as many as 60 different alarms to sound every minute in an hour. In a day, that means you can always set up as many as 1,440 alarms (60 alarms x 24). Interestingly, you can always put the alarms on repeat; this will make them repeat every day of the week or every two or three days, depending on how you want it.

That said, the bottom line is that you can always set up as many alarms as you want on your iPhone using the Clock app. To exaggerate things, it’s possible to set up as many as 60 alarms on your iPhone, expecting all of them to ring within an hour.

You can even go as far as setting up about 1,440 alarms in a day, depending on how you want it. So, it’s left to you to decide how you want to set up the alarms and how many of them you want.

How long can alarms be on an iPhone?

Depending on the type of alarm clock you’re using on your iPhone, there are multiple answers to this question. For the sake of this post, I’m going to focus only on the iPhone’s Clock app.

On your Clock app, alarms can last for as long as you want them to, on your smartphone. Let’s say you set up an alarm to ring and wake you up at 7:00 in the morning. If you leave the alarm unattended, it’s certainly going to ring for exactly 15 minutes on its own and then stop for a break.

Unless you turn the alarm off or snooze it, it’ll continue to ring again after stopping for about nine minutes.

The bottom line is that your alarm clock (Apple’s Alarm Clock app) will ring for a long period until you snooze/stop it. If you’re the type that uses music as your alarm sound, the clock app will play the music an unlimited number of times.

Most times, the clock will ring and play the music repeatedly for 15 minutes. After that, it’ll snooze for about nine minutes and then continue ringing again.

Reasons why you should use the iPhone Clock app

The iPhone clock app comes with a couple of excellent features. This is one of the reasons why you need to continue using the app, instead of opting for third-party alarm apps.

One of the benefits of the Alarm Clock App is that it allows you to set up multiple alarms on your iPhone. Depending on your needs, you can always set up more than a thousand alarms on your smartphone for a day.

Furthermore, the clock app also allows for the indefinite ringing of the alarm if you fail to attend to it. The app will allow your alarm music to play and vibrate for up to 15 minutes if unattended to and then snooze.

Here’s another benefit that the Alarm Clock App has over many third-party alarm clock apps.

Apart from the alarm feature, iPhone’s Clock App also has other great features, such as Bedtime or Sleep, Stopwatch, and World Clock. All of these features have great benefits. For instance, the World Clock will tell you the time in other parts of the world – this is great for remote workers who have clients from different countries across the globe.
