What is CTF Loader and how can you fix Loader Related errors?
As an ordinary user of windows, you might be unfamiliar with the CTF loader or the ctfmon.exe.
At one point, you may open the task manager and realize that there is a process called the “CTF Loader “running. It can be worrying if you don’t know what it is.

Where can you find the CTF Loader?
The CTF runs from a file found in the system folder. You can find out its location by following the steps below:
- Find the CTF loader in the task manager.
- Go to the” Processes tab” and choose “Open file location” on the drop-down then click it. This will open the Windows Explorer at C\Windows\System32.
- It will also highlight the ctfmon.exe file. Should you utilize the 64-bit Windows, you will get it in the file C\Windows\SysWOW64.
- On the drop-down menu, right-click the file to select properties. You will find the signature of the file on the details tab.
- You can check any unusual signatures on this tab should there be any.
- Take note that some hackers name viruses using common names of harmless files.
- Doing this makes it hard for you to find without using malware detectors.
- Should the file be outside the system folder, then it could be a virus. You might want to run a diagnostic test if you notice the exe file anywhere in your computer.
What causes CTF loader problems?

2. Run an update
If your windows are out of date, the CTF loader may be an issue among other errors.

3. Restore your computer

- Go to the control panel and choose “recovery option.”
