Google Chrome is an excellent internet browser, alongside Mozilla Firefox, Edge or Opera. It’s available on multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, iOS, and Android. Many users are now using Google Chrome on their computers, as well as smartphones and tablets.

However, after a while of using Google Chrome, your computer or device might run slower and sometimes, it does not respond to your action. This issue happens because there are too many cached files and cookies which belong to your browser that store on your computer or device.

In this situation, you have to clear these cached files, as well as clear cookies and browsing history on your Chrome browser.

Basically, cached files are “temporary & unnecessary” files (CSS, images, videos and so on), which store on your computer in purpose to load websites faster. Every time you visit a website, more files will be stored on your computer, in the temporary folder. Over time, this folder will grow up and take a lot of your storage space. So, removing cached files of your Google Chrome browser will help you to speed up your browser, prevent the browser from run slower or lag, as well as give you more free space to install other apps. Removing cached files will also help to solve a few errors on your browser, such as Dns_Probe_Finished_Nxdomain, Err_Connection_Refused, or Err_Name_Not_Resolved.

Similarly, cookies are files that store specific information of specific websites. For example, when you sign up an account at PCGuide.Online, a PC guides and tutorials dedicated forum. And then sign in, choose to remember your session until you sign out, then your basic information such as username, how long you will be active there, as well as a few basic website’s settings will be saved as cookies. If you want to learn more about what cookie is, read this article from Mozilla.org.
