If you have just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, you may feel strange when using the new Task Manager utility as it’s completely refreshed. It comes with more features to handle running processes, startup items, and services. So you can now easily enable or disable startup items or services within the new Task Manager in Windows 10.

Unlike before, since Windows 10, if you want to enable or turn off a startup program, you have to use Task Manager. It is not able to access System Configuration and choose “Startup” tab to do that anymore.

In order to show which program or process is using too much resource of your computer, the resource statistics in the new Task Manager are color-coded. Therefore, if you see a program or a process comes with the darker color, that means it is using a lot of resource of your PC (RAM/CPU).
